OGC – One Global Consulting is owned and managed by Dr. Svala Guðmundsdóttir, a Professor at the University of Iceland, School of Business, in Reykjavik. Her research has focused on cross-cultural adjustment, national culture of Iceland, expatriates, spouses, job satisfaction and prior experience of expatriates. She has published articles in both local and international journals. Furthermore, she has given a number of talks for companies, institutions and on international conferences. In addition, she has a consulting experience in relation to human resource management and change management for international and Icelandic organizations.
Dr. Svala has extensive international experience, being an expatriate for seven years and a spouse of an expatriate for another seven years. She therefore understands the different demands that are required in the global arena. She is certified by the Cultural Intelligence Center as a CQ Certified Facilitator.
